I was hooked the moment I arrived.
The water outside the Seattle Aquarium shimmered like the ocean, and I was already in love before I even walked in.

My friend and I couldn’t take our eyes off one particular creature—and that was the harbor seal!
We stood there for a long while, completely drawn in . They looked so soft, as if they might melt at the slightest touch.
Their spotted skin added this quiet kind of charm—playful but graceful, familiar yet strangely magical. There was something about them that made us feel gentler, calmer, like our hearts had just been wrapped in a warm blanket.
I didn’t just watch them—I felt myself quietly falling for them.
My friend’s ideal type had always been someone on the chubbier side, and I never quite understood why.
But watching those harbor seals—so adorably round, soft, and full of an effortless kind of charm—I think I finally got it. There’s a warmth in that softness, a kind of gentle comfort that makes you want to stay a little longer.

And then—oh my goodness—I stumbled upon the happiest-looking otter couple in the world.
Just look at them. Aren’t they the sweetest thing ever?
I couldn’t leave without taking them with me somehow… so yes, I bought their merch at the gift shop. And mSeattle otter magnets are now stuck on the door at home. Like this below :

We saw a giant octopus, floating jellyfish, and strange, mesmerizing birds we’d never seen before. +100!

In the new aquarium, I came across a fish that instantly caught my eye.
Just look at its lips—aren’t they oddly fascinating?
