[Seattleite Diary] Pike Place Market : Fish, Gum, and a Little Troll

Can you see  "The Market Troll"  up there? ↑↑

It turns out, Washington State is famous for its apples!

The place I most longed to visit in Seattle was the aquarium — because I’ve always loved fish.

But the rarer fish — I ended up finding them at Pike Place Market!
Life, after all, is full of surprises.

Beyond the fish and flying laughter, Pike Place hides stories in every corner.

There are narrow alleys tucked between old brick walls, and tiny shops that feel like time forgot them.

Two bronze pigs stand proudly at the market’s entrance — Rachel and Billie — silent mascots collecting coins and smiles from travelers passing by.

And just a few steps away, there’s a Starbucks that everyone believes is the very first one.
But it isn’t — it’s simply the most photographed, the one that carries the nostalgia of the city’s beginnings.

Around the corner, the famous Gum Wall glistens with thousands of colors — both strange and beautiful in its own sticky way.

Maybe that’s the charm of Pike Place: it lets myths and memories live side by side, blurring the line between what’s true and what feels true.
